btw... i was in Saddar that evening for a minor repair of car's suspension. Had ample time at workshop + i had skipped lunch due to hectic schedule that day... so i dashed to Haq-Bahoo Rabrri Falooda...
Lemmi tell you about today. I had been again in Saddar and this time i chose Rahat Bakers's juice corner named Saffilo. and had pina colada glass... charged me Rs. 165/- costly indeed but nobody in town makes pine-apple colada as good as Saffilo/Rahat Bakers....
as ever , it was 9/10 ..hands down

thats right...back in village we frnds would have BBQ party on Baqr-eid. Everyone would bring their share. We would marinate the boti/tikka pieces for a while and after Maghrib the party would begin.... and would eat like cave-men

hey how many of you have tried that Yogurt-Icecream next to China-Town near Church in F-8 Islamabad.
i forgot the name of that outlet, but its something new for dessert.
my rating about that yogurt icecream iz mixed one..i mean some of the flavours are good. some are not so good...and price tag is a lil higher, considering the fact that Pakistanis do not like it when they have to pay more for dessert than the main course
but one must try it at least once...

important tip : that icecream outlet is a self-service system, where u have to squeeze icecream from machines there...and then they weigh it and charge you accordingly. Therefore DO NOT fill your cups to the brim as there is no fixed rate for a serving, rather they charge by the weight of your serving...so haath hola rakhain ...so that the cashier put hola hath on ur purse

I havent tried it yet...heard its pretty expensive...I never like food that costs more than its worth...frozen yogurt ice cream is also available next to Habibi in I/8. Another frozen yogurt (cant remember if ice cream was written next to it, though its the same thing I guess :P) shop is open at Rose Plaza on Peshawar Road Rwp (the plaza next to citi school and beacon house, the two schools made to block traffic only, teaching students how to nuclear bomb laws and ethics right at their door step)

well...i agree with ur point...paying too much for dessert is pointless.
but if u fill ur cup light..they charge u light
