Ford GT prototype pics

I took these pics before the Ford GT was officially released. The Ferrari 360 was the benchmark and it had a stick in the back saying "I'd rather be driving a Ford GT", in typical American arrogant style.
Imo, the 360 is a much better car.

I had to go through a lot to take these pics, notice what it says on the door in the 3rd pic.

The picture isn't very clear but it says "Cameras prohibited".

now THIS is a great bit of posting! i heard that hte benchmark was the 360 as well, also heard that the GT manged to capture everything about the true essence of the original. (I still havn't driven one).

i think this is quiet an old event caz the gt 40 got in production, saw all of this testing on discovery....

i think it wasent fair of them to compare with modena... they should have compared with an equally priced ferrari....

The Ford GT program manager is a desi guy, Jamal Hameedi. He was trying to convince me that the Ford GT is better than the 360 but I wasn't having any of it.

Yeah, I took these pics quite a few years ago, now it's almost impossible to get this close to the prototype engineering department. They've put up huge gates and concrete walls.

never felt this ford....regardless of how good an american, european or japanese car can become....when the price falls in the ferrari, lambo or porsche territory....u cant do much of a comparison....

the GT was a flop in my opinion...just two year of production and got discontinued a few months ago this year.
