Losing title not end of the world for Alonso
Current season not the end for title success

Although not renowned for his qualities as a good loser, Fernando Alonso says not winning a third consecutive world championship this year would not be the end of the world.
The Spaniard arrives at Lewis Hamilton's home race this weekend a full 14 points behind the English rookie, dismissing some of his recent lowly finishes as down to pure bad luck.
"If I do not become world champion again this time, then - God willing - I will get another chance next year," Alonso said at Silverstone today.
"There are still nine races left in this season for me to go for it, but - if not - then it is not the end of the world."
"If I was at Honda or another team and still had zero points, then I would really be unhappy. But instead I am second and I still have every chance to succeed," Alonso said.
The 25-year-old thinks ill-fated races, such as his gearbox problem during French Grand Prix qualifying last weekend and because of the Safety Car in Canada, have exacerbated his points deficit, but insisted that similar luck could also strike his title rivals.
But he also acknowledged that true consistency is usually a crucial element for any successful championship campaign.
"You have to be on the podium at every race," Alonso said, "so that if you can not win, you are collecting as many points as possible.
"But I was fifth in Bahrain and seventh twice in Canada and France - and if you want to be world champion, seventh places are not really acceptable."
