I was so hoping for Mr. Slims of Mexico to come to an agreement for Honda because backed by his billions we could have seen exactly what Brawn was going to deliver for 2K9 but alas the mexican tycoons people have said "no dice"... looks like the man at the helm of Aston Martin is in with a shot now that Subaru has backed out of rally racing... !!!!

Hey Beglar, howdy? Been awhile...bet you spent the last month or so in deep consultations with the esteemed lefty about the new season:p

Good to see Ferrari roll out their car early on. With sweeping changes this season and Ferrari so far behind on their KERS device that they might actually arrive in Oz without one its good to get an early start and iron out the problems given that there will be next to no testing during the season and we all know Raikkonens ability to develop the car anyway:-# even when testing was allowed.

If all that was not enough, here is a little gem. Remember the famous Ferrari lighting system? Well it`s back!! Ferrari will revert to using that after claiming they have "improved" it.
How much time it saves them in a pitsop i will never know, but it sure as hell cost them the drivers title in 08 and might give them more grief in the coming season.

Howdy indeed... I'm speechless as far as the lighting system goes for the pit stop... I dont know if its the stubbornness that they seem to suffer from or if its simply trying to over reach (pointlessly at that)... I hope the metaphor of the baby not reaching for the coal a second time that burnt his hand the first time does not end up being applicable for ferrari here.

Lefty has been on a hiatus after last season... I'm sure when he decides to resume communications again he will be doling out gems by the bucket loads...

Nah, me not watching the Qatar open because its not being shown to us:o Weve got the stupid never ending Hopman cup going on for ages now. Safin is playing Hrbaty as i write and its 2 all.
On Betfair, Federer is a slight Favourite to win the Qatar open which came as a surprise to me given his form, but i hope he picks up his game and takes Murray to the cleaners.

So Federer is beaten by Murray again

Walker tips Kubica for 2009 title

Murray Walker has tipped Robert Kubica to win the 2009 Formula One World Championship.

Man that nose just looks out of proportion... not only that but the wings seem to be kisssing the ground.

At the beginning of last years season I had thought 2k8 was a tough year to predict but 2k9 is much more of a doozy... We have Kubica and alonso as possible contenders (cars permitting) we have to see how both the ferrari drivers rebound... and of course we have a new champion defending his title... not to mention a couple of sophomore drivers so all in all a very uncertain start to the year indeed...

Fedexpress is done?! The guy got to the finals of every grand slam last year and won two of them... granted nadal got to the final of two grand slams and won both but I didnt really see him at the finals of the other two grandslams... fedexpress ain't done yet... he may break the 14 grand slams record this year... aussie open will set the tone i think. Granted the middle eastern tours didnt fare well for him... what i'm glad about though is that you're not one of the murray-maniacs... god those guys piss me off! This is really off topic so to bring things back into perspective i will now add the following:
