 Man its the year of ugly cars. They do look a lot like the cars from the 80s i must say. If only the driving and racing is anywhere near how it was in the 80s, we`d live with these cars.

I think some cars because of their liveries might not look so bad while some might be unbearable.

The Federer comment about him being finished was too funny for me to even comment on. Spent all this time laughing:p

da nose has gone longer n da spoiler/rear wing has also gone huge...i don wana say this..i'm a huge Scuderia Ferrari fan..but it's lil ugly..i hope it performs well this season wid few reliability issues..

Its a bit ugly but surely it would have a huge impact on the drag. The front spoiler and the nose aint in sync. The slicks are looking sexy...

Man, thanks a ton for getting me right that am not in to that tall brit shit, that guy is such a turn off to tennis.
And as far as the Swiss precision is concerned, i agree that he is still one of the best but its time to realize that he aint gonna live forever (he is relaxing these days) ... their is a very thin line b/w the champ and the runner up.. so being in the final means both are good players, but dont think that Roddick is near to Fedex coz they both have played on the center court alot...

Btw i am getting to like Hami.

So why the F60?

Ferrari have broken with tradition, naming their 2009 F1 challenger the F60.

The Italian outfit has for many years named their cars after the season in which they will be used, such as last year's F2008. This year, though, the car has been dubbed the F60.

So why F60?

Well the car's name is in referenece to the number of Championships in which Ferrari have participated. They are the only team to have competed in all 60 years of the F1 World Championship.

Ok wait a minute now... did you just use roddick as a scale for comparison with the federaly?! Seriously?! It almost brings a tear to my eye when I see how fast people ditch those on top and run for the new shiny object
No one says the guy was gonna continue winning until he felt like it was enough but I really do think he deserves a bit more respect when he is going through a tough time with his form considering what he has achieved... And sorry man roddick can't even be considered for an analogy when it comes federer or nadal or even djokovic (and I do not like Djokovic either)... 30 - 0 to me... your serve...

Technical analysis of the Ferrari F60

t a low-key event at Mugello today, Ferrari launched their 2009 car, called simply the F60. Despite being built to the dramatically different 2009 rules, the car appears to retain the DNA of its predecessor.

Now equipped with a KERS system, slicks and bodywork to meet the new rules, the car is the first chance we have seen to see a definitive 2009 car. Slightly shorter than the F2008, the F60 cleverly exploits every blind spot in the bodywork rules to recoup the 50% loss in downforce from its smaller wings and diffuser.

Boy ohy Boy someone needs a good pair of spectacles.. i clearly mentioned that roddick aint in that league of fedex, pete, boris, bjorn.. and yeah he is not even closser to the serbian..
Well fed hopefully will win the 2 grand slams this year to beat pete's record.
And for murray curray he cant even play properly in a grand slam... who cares how many tours one has won, the thing matter in last is the center court. And still on grass no one can match the pace of Roger Federer.

I'm guessing there is no update on Honda being taken over is there? Kind of feel bad for Bruno and Brawn but can't stop laughing when I think that Button turned down Mclaren when he did... oh and I feel sorry for Rubens

I am glad that Bruno Senna might not get a racing seat at least this year. I feel a testing role would be good although with testing ban coming in effect this season i don`t know how a testers role fits in the equation. Cant imagine the pressure on his young shoulders, and whatever success he has in F1 will always dwarf in comparison with what his late great uncle achieved. That is the flip side of racing with a famous sir name. I am sure it opened a lot of doors for him, but now that he has made it to F1 it will start to feel like a burden.

I feel bad for Rubens. Thats not how his F1 career should have ended.
Honda racing chiefs claim a dozen parties are interested in buying the team. Dont know where these dozen parties arecause all i see are names pulling out of the race to buy the team.

Ferrari addresses F60's glitches

Ferrari engineers are addressing a number of technical issues on its new F60 after the team admitted it had some “small problems” during the car’s initial shakedown.

Ferrari became the first team to launch a 2009-spec Formula 1 car on Monday, rolling out a KERS-equipped F60 at Mugello in Italy.

Toyota have unveiled the TF109 car that Jarno Trulli hopes can help the team deliver their maiden Formula One victory in 2009.

Unveiled during a special 'virtual' launch on Thursday morning, the TF109 looks strikingly different to its predecessors as a result of the major rules revamp for this season.

And on the back of a promising 2008, with Trulli scoring their first podium finish since the 2006 season as Toyota wound up in fifth place in the standings, the Italian driver is bullish about the work the team have done over the winter.

So I see toyota are more optimistic about their chances in the current economic climate than Honda was... anyone checked out the Hydrogen car honda is testing out in california? They have leased it out for $600 on a two year term... apparently its a great success... surprised that the company that will save the car is being so conservative...

MCLAREN LAUNCH 2009 CHALLENGER

The McLaren team on Friday unveiled their new challenger for the 2009 season, the Mercedes-powered MP4-24.

As the Ferrari and Toyota unveiled so far, the new McLaren's look is dominated by its very wide front wing and very narrow rear one.

McLaren boss Ron Dennis said the new regulations have forced the team to work evern harder to get the car ready.
