Fortuner 2021 vs Prado 2010

What is a good buy in between New fortuner facelift model vs 2010 used Prado, considering one has limited funds

Prado is much better in drive and comfort but is still used
Fortuner will be less comfortable but will still be new so my vote goes with Fortuner

Fortuner if you have a typical Pakistani zERo MeTeR mindset. But I'd say respect your money and buy a prado, fortuner is a over priced back killing machine.

Prados and LC's last for generations, this fortuner was being sold at 50 that's it's worth. Just cause dollar rose it reached 1 cr, that doesn't make it a good vehicle. Not worth the tag.

I was always in the favor that prado was a premium product. But just reading your post saying Prado 2010 vs Fortuner 2021. Makes it 11 years old.

If you were to compare a fresh import that is 5 years old, its still considerable.

Fortuner feels loud, not as comfortable but both share the same 2.7 liter engine.

such heavy weight SUVs shall be with a diesel motor or a V6 petrol engine. 2700 petrol engine is too weak for such massive bodies. Heavy on fuel and scream loud under load when throttled hard.

People who say Fortuner is back killing must drive in BMW X7 or Audi Q8, and their opinions shouldn't be taken into consideration. Yes, Fortuner is less comfortable than Prado. But Fortuner is also brand new, has a significantly more powerful engine, more off-road capabilities, company-backed warranty and service, looks better and is generally a more modern vehicle.

If comfort is top priority, get a Grand Carnival or a Sorento.

You did not just say that a fortuner looks better did you fortuner is a low grade vehicle, prado is a superior league.
It's like comparing corolla with a crown.
As i said It's worth 50 60 max, just cause of the dollar it touched 1 cr.
It doesn't justify the price tag.
It's just a revo with another seat row.
LC's last for generations.

Is zero meter wali mentality ki wajha se the prices are increased daily they know people will go for it.

Yes finding one in great condition in older models would be very hard.

Not really.

A number of old Prado and LCs are seen in extremely good condition. These vehicles are not made to deteriorate in just a decade. According to Toyota, LC has an average life of 25 years in third world countries (where there are issues of genuine parts and maintenance).

Personally i would go for a prado. If you are spendsuch a big amount you want the ride to be as comfy as possible. 2011 models arent that old tbh and wont require significant maintenance
