Hi guysThe climate control on the Fortuner seems to work great in the front but for the rear seats, it keeps throwing A/C cold air. Does the heating system not work in the rear? Or do I need to get mine checked
Rear panel is only for air conditioning.
Rear has separate cooler/evaporator which is installed behind the right rear wheel well above silencer tail pipe.
There is no heater core for rear vents/blower.

Posting in this thread after a year almost. My question is also regarding the climate control. Pressing the auto button always turns on the airflow towards the feet. Can't put it on auto with airflow coming from the ac vents.
Is anyone else experiencing the same?
Set lower temperature to get air directed from the front vents.
Like suggested above. Lower the climate control temperature. Bring it down to 24 23C
Got the air from the vents on 22.5, turn it to 23 and it divides the air between feet and face. Didn't get the logic though. Also there are no feet vents for middle row passengers which is now common in many cars.
