Fortuner music player issue

Aoa there is a problem with my fortuner's music player. When connected via bluetooth it wont play smooth and the sound keeps breaking for seconds while its played on the phone but the music player wont keep up the sync. Reset it and its fine for a while and then again the problem starts.
What can possibly be wrong?

Your phone or the music player's BT module is dying. can't think of any other reason.

Possible solution?

If your music player supports BT then it should have an Aux port too. use that.
Another solution can be the introduction of an FM transmitter in the middle i.e. cast music from FM transmitter.
