Found a Classic CG125 from early 80s the Grandfather of todays most loved bike of Pak

Friends Work shop where my Road Master is getting Restored another GEM has been brought back to Life, Yes It is a Orignal HM Honda Japan CG125 from early 80s which is the ancestor of todays so called EuroII CG125 Power Plus.

The level of detail on this Clssic CG is astonoshing if I compare it to todays CG125 whic is locally produced, I mean from Side Switch, sun glasses holder, Helmet Lock detailed meter, heat spacer in Carburator.

this was one of the best models. my friend's father used to have it.1983 model and his father is still the first owner. he restored it in 2010. was an awesome bike with original headlight, metres and everything. i offered him 40k but i was amazed to see that he got an offer of 53k in the market. it was out of my range at that time so i started living happily with my sprinter :D. but the sad part is that these models are really hard to find in good condition now

My father bought it for 25000 in 80s when non-japan assemble models were sold at 15,000. we had one in blue too, the same bike but papa sold it, and kept this one, The bike is in all its original glory (head to tail) everything is original, except for seat which is of later models, relieves pain from your bum, we dont even ride it much now, to keep it in its original shiny condition

I had a similar 83 model 125 though it wasnt nearly close to the beauty above, what a machine it was.

bro i think the carburettor belongs to the new model. The original model had a different choke.

We had a red classic CG from 80 era but sadly it was stolen by dacoits. These bikes are true gem.

well okay pity it is that you dont own it, I do and mine is never restored or painted, dont just go with side covers... thats 30+ years of aging.. though i admire the old gems, its a rare sighting to see a similar model.... i have seen few.... but they all were really wrecked, and the good conditions were restored/painted etc...

THis one is the fine example and in all original form, except for:

Seat which is of later Atlas models,
When this pic was used the silencer was of Deluxe, now its on original sankie one...
and The rear rim originally is 2.75 18, replaced to 3.00 that too of HONDA japan "AKAI" rims...
the Metal guards are original too..

And FYI, learn the difference of well kept and restored/painted models....

BRAND NEW OR RESTORED like the one pictured above in the threads are there.... but all original UN-restored like mine are not...

I would advised you to make a thread of your UN-restored 125 with a lot of exceptions of later model in it as you mentioned below...

you have a great bike must be known to bikers how well kept it is...

the 125 pics I shared were just a thread of what I saw at a mechnic shop and thought it was a nice effort by some one to restore a decades old bike to its orignal glory so I must share it with PW buddies... ... so Go brother make a thread of your bike ...
