Foundation Twice Broken Latest Civic

I am a proud fan of Honda since last two decades and have never driven anything else but Honda. Currently I own latest Civic and have driven this car for 40000 KMs. I have never driven this car carelessly, not off the road, no accident. I have driven this car on metal roads of Karachi. Mainly from Malir Cantonment via Shara E Faisal to Clifton and back. I have found out that foundation of my car broken. Not once but twice. I would like to know if anyone else has faced the same issue with latest Civic. I am very careful with my car. But unfortunately it has happened again. Just to mention that my car is Honda maintained (100%) and last time foundation was replaced by Honda Quaideen in Karachi. Comments and guideline awaited please.

What do you mean foundation broken? Can you please explain. Foundation meaning Engine mount?

Also if you can share the part name and number off the time you fixed it. It should be on the receipt they gave you the last time it was fixed.

And also you car model, meaning Oriel, Turbo ?

I think its mount..but have to verify. I don't have a receipt as it was replaced under warranty free of cost. I will try and get the part serial number and update you. Regards

Same problem was faced by a friend... He rectified it under warranty... Car was 16000kms driven only in city. I guess its factory fault as he said the sound for broken mount was from day 1.

Interesting. Do keep us posted. As for the warranty yes you didn’t pay them anything but they still give a receipt of which parts were changed in the car, maybe you have that.

What’s the delivery month ?

Hi Guys, the part has been replaced again free of cost by Honda. The serial number of the part is 50820-TEA-T12. Car will be delivered to me today. last time the replacement took around 45 days due to non availability of part. This time they say that it was in the stock and has been replaced. Please guide me as I want to raise this issue with the higher authorities in Honda may be Honda Japan as well. This crap is unbelievable. Regards

Civics are prone to engine mount issues.
My 9th Gen rear mount rubber degraded causing other mounts to loose height.
rule of thumb if one mount goes bad it will stress others.
8th Gen right engine mount issues are reported by many owners.
I am surprised that 10th Gen is having those issues because i have checked them physically and those are much better then previous gen.

Hey. Thank you sharing all the info with the part numbers. Apparently you can somehow take it up with Honda Japan but unfortunately Honda Japan is directly a part of Honda Atlas hence I suspect they know exactly what’s going on. But engine mounts and all suck when they break, too much khuaari in getting the car fixed and all. Best bet to contact @fazalwahab11375 He should better guide you if you want to take this to the next level.
