Fraud by JDM Cars Auction House (AHJ)

I used to Import JDM Cars through company name (AHJ-Auction House Japan), and deposited a handsome amount, Now I am want my amount back but they are not responding to my calls, emails.

What should I do now?

how many cars you imported since deposit., and un answered calls.

I imported 13 cars, now 1 lac yen is still pending at their end. i am asking them to return my remaining amount since Jan, 2019, Now 8 months has passed but still they say that i will get my amount soon. but now from few days they are not attending my calls, not answering my whatsapp msgs.

if you have legitimate evidence of funds transfer through banking channel and transactions receipts are under your name, process is simple,

write an application to Commerical Attache Consule General of Japan in your area
attach evidence with your cnic number / copy + contact details and ask for their help.

if there is nothing under your name, ... forget it. Consul General will not help smugglers or money transfer through money laundering channels.

U r right, but can u tell any single way of funds transfer to japan, like banking channel

If you are a tax filer and have a business .it is very easy to register yourself with secp and and fbr and get your foreign currency bank account and transfer of money .
People who are non filer should forget doing any kind of business in Pakistan as very strict rules have been implemented and no one will be spared .

Yes i am a Filer since 2011, and i have the option to open foreign currency account but for car import Foreign currency account is of no use.

beacuse as per policy i can send amount to any individual any where in the world like Western Union but here Money is being sent to A company (Auction houses), There is no way in Pakistan to send money abroad to a company..

All is money Laundering, it is illegal,,, yes, eveyone knows it is illegal, currently million of JDM cars are in pakistan now , all are being importing illegally. Is it a crime

Ive visisted many banks to confirm legal way but no option, i also sent posts here in this group for any legal way,, only 1 answer,, there is no legal way,, but we are paying custom duty---wow

Dont blame the government for your dirty business.

The government gave a option to import cars in baggage and TR schemes, People misused it. And their is no ban the scheme is still valid. Just thru different ways.

earlier you send the amount of car price, now you have to send car price + Duty price, resend it to pakistan and then clear your car.

The procedure similar to the procedure you have sent your money to AHJ auction house. Their is no legal way to do it.

The condition for duty money to come from abroad is to cut the wrong use of the scheme.

Well brother. This is so simple procedure. Send the money abroad and then receive as remittance. So simple.

Brother, issue is how to send the money abroad. U didn't get my point. There is no legal way in Pakistan to send the money to a company abroad.

U can send the money to an individual, but not to a company. I just said that govermnet should allow banks to send the money to the auction houses in Japan.

It is allowed from Dubai, USA etc but not allowed from pakistan.

You must have someone abroad (blood relative) who can remit the money to these auction houses for you and then you can import the vehicle. As per govt rules only those people who meet certain condition can import car into Pakistan.

This was being misused and still is but the misuse has gotten a tad bit difficult.

Yes because this is not a legal business. If a business is legal you can open a LC / DP and do transaction through bank.

Other wise first you have to send money thru illegal channels and remit it back to Pakistan for Duty amount. PLus Duty amount should come in the account of or relative of the orignal passport holder whoose pasport in being used. Also you need embassy verification that this money is from your family and purpose of it.

For genuine casese this isnt a problem, But for commercial importers this is a big hassle.

Sending money to auction houses isnt a problem they accept all kinds of payments.

The problem is sending money back to Pakistan, For duty amount that is a very long procedure, But as i said it is not impossible, like earlier clearing agents were arranging passports for rs. 10-14k now they are arranging people who can re remint the money, charges have sky rocketed

money trail for transfer of funds abroad and money trail of foreign remittance for clearance of vehicle shall be through legitimate banking channels.

now the original passports are required for stamping of vehicle declaration under TR / Gift Scheme / Baggage scheme and the same are stamped by Customs with date & IGM number of clearance.

a vehicle cleared in July passport holder arrived after the car and left after vehicle cleared the port gate. round trip ticket business class was paid by the supposedly importer, who managed the money trail and transfer of funds to consignee family member of the passport holder.

it is not impossible but tricky to handle. .. what if the passport holder demand x amount over & above the trip expenses ?

now the same passport can not be used for vehicle import for next 30 months.
