I was about to purchase an automatic corolla from the dealership in a couple of days.
Initially i was going to get the 1.6 but I was recommended the 1.3 by the sales staff! as the only difference between the two were the Alloy Rims and the Navigation system.
The sales person recommended that i should rather get the 1.3 as it'll be cheaper in registration/withholding tax and will give better mileage. And i could always add on the rims and navigation and even then it'll be 100,000/- cheaper.
Is this a good idea?
Also I recently learnt that Toyota was going to discontinue the 1.3 corolla once the Belta is launched this year. Should that influence my decision?
