Maintaining Corollas for the past 13 years at 3S and I have learned a few tricks. They charge for "tuning" every 5,000 kms, and what they do is just clean spark plugs. These cars do not need tuning if there are no starting troubles or missing or bad fuel consumption which has never been the case so far with the fourth Corolla I have now.
What I do is just get oil and filter change every 5,000 kms and at every 10,000 kms go for brakes service or cleaning and undercarriage bolts tightening.
You need to change transmission oil after 50,000 kms. Fuel filter also around 40 or 50K.
