Fresh 2019 Recall for Honda Vezel,Fit

Another recall dated 26 July 2019 for Vezel and related cars for DCT issue for models including 2018 Vezel. Honda still struggling even after 5 years of this DCT issue. Even for 2014/15 models which had received update for gear issue,may still need the fresh update(attached pic of 2014 model).
Till few days back, Honda Jp website provided search option for a given chassis no regarding relevant updates but now it honda jp has stopped providing such info for models which have been already exported. So the only way to check whether a particular model has received update is to check driver pillar area for oval stickers displaying four digit code.

How can an ECU update affect that much?

Secondly, its not just with Honda, all the manufacturers using DCT have issues.

The problems occur due to poor driving habits.

As for the updates, its just like we get software update for our computer & mobile. The manufacture continues its R&D and when they make new improvements they send updates.

So its nothing new. The only problem is getting these updates.

they deal only in PKDM models.

Smuggled vehicles does not fall into their dealership / service scope.

Kindly review the word "Smuggled" in your reply. Smuggled items came illegally without paying tax.
These car are imported and cleared after fulfil all government requirements and pay heavy taxes. These taxes are paid more than any manufactured car in its class.

documentation used is fake, there is no money trail to verify the source of purchase.

That is basic reason used car smuggling has stopped.

used vehicles landing since 2019 Sept are over verified money trail and legitimate passports of expat / dual national Pakistanis living abroad.
