well i waxed up the whole car tried to to go as thin as possible buffed it with micros but still on roof and bonnet some wax remained as it turned hard then i rubbed it watched in various angles maybe yours is white you didnt noticed

I kept an LED light after sunset to see if wax is not left anywhere. In daylight have to angle your, face eyes while removing was in reflection.

I also applied thin all over except on the hood for the pic. Even when you apply thick (which is like wasting precious wax) you must remove it asap because once it gets dried, it becomes too hard and the takes a lot of muscle to remove.

My advice, do it with an empty stomach. Your body focus on muscles more as compare to digesting food, and it gives you much more energy. In the end, there's always a choice of getting glass coat. I chose glass coat, but I miss doing wax. [emoji12]

So one part at one time, like apply and do microfibre rubbing than move to another part?
Microfiber should be damped or completely dry?

i we going through some forums on collinite some of them recommended to dampen the applicator pad before applying go by panel by panel and some said do half car first remove go to the other half my technique was i did the whole car first then started my from front to back though took 2 hrs just to shampoo and wax but i still found it hard then nxt 2.0 but results are crazy MashAllah next time i ll keep an led thanks for the advise

waxing is fun but not in summers hehe mujhe naya naya shawk charha ha though kept some detailing stuff and watch YouTube detailing videos still my car is in a bit bad shape as it is service station cleaned one wash after 7 days but from the the past two weeks i m doing myself

Go to some detailing guy, get it detailed first. It would be rather easier and satisfying for you to have detailed car, and when you wax it you'll love it.

If you're in Lahore I would recommend that take it to Ahmad yar bhai, get a sealant package. It would be a much better thing.

Compounding by hand is not a recommemded approach. You will tire yourself needlessly, probably never achieve desired results and abandon the job half way.

The results achieved from machine compounding are hard to replicate by hand. The power and intensity is just not possible. I hope you understand.

If your car needs compounding, best to get a DA, or give it to a Detailer for a one off job, and then it will be possible for you to wax and maintain it at home.

Another solution is to find a friend who has a DA already, and make new friends. I hope this helps you.

Yes one part at a time. The applicator pad should be moist. Microfiber towel should be dry and you need to keep changing its fold during wax removal.

Thank you. No I did not treat alloys, tire, glass at all though have appropriate products for them. It is just magic of CG shampoo

Panel by panel is right approach otherwise Collinte gets to hard and stubborn to remove. I used moist applicator pad.

My son was sleeping when I was doing it and when he woke up and came out, he was astonished and asked me what I had done to it. It is looking much, much better than when we went to get it from showroom

Installed the same in my Grande two days back, but there was a problem. Every time I pressed the horn pad, there was a sharp hissing sound along with the horn sound. Traced it and found that it was alternator hum coming from the speakers, which is sort of some interference.

Do your horns sound alright? I'm talking about honking them with the engine running, windows closed and stereo at 0 volume.

Will appreciate your feedback
