Stayed for just 30 minutes there. It was very windy and icy cold. Usman remained in the jeep. Rest were also feeling uncomfortable due to less oxygen level. We took some snaps, took tea with pakoras, just poked the chilas road.

Stopped for Tea at Batakundi. The taste of the tea was awesome as well as that of jalebi. Tea was made with shakar.

Reached Naran at 6:30. Our better halves cooked Allo ki bhujia and chicken for us. It was a rememborable full day. Then we took coffee. Kids got excited to see the decorations on coffee.

Lalazar is a beautiful place but not so that you put your lives at risk. We both friends offered tauba during whole uphill journey. The track is only of 4 kms but it is very narrow. On one side is very very steep slope. Godforbid, One mistake and you are out of this world. We STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this point for families. Although we loved the place but the joy was not there. In rains, this jeep track is impossible. Even our jeep drivers told us to pack up as soon as the rain starts.

Soon we were ready to go back. On our return leg, my jeep clucth plate got problem. We were stranded. You can well imagine the extent of the problem on steep descends if you are a driver. We carried on foot for 1 km. Then the driver some how managed to temporarily fix the problem and we reached naran at 2 pm.

It was utter frustration today. We both friends went to the river side of the hotel and sat there. We saw the following and were depressed to see this illiteracy of the educated class.

After so much disapointment, we decided to chill out at outskirts of Naran. Helipad and Sohni Abshar were our destination. We packed home made biryani, bought garma and mangoes.
