Distributor is fully functional - without any damages or malfunctions.
I changed these things cuz the D15B 3-Stage doesn't work well with the P2M ecu (and the factory IACV), since you cant use dual vtec and the revs are too high (ending up with higher fuel average).
I changed the distributor only cuz my mechanic said the dual stage has a different distributor. Otherwise there wasnt any need to do so.
Some (including Xulfiqar) say there isnt a need to do so (as long as distro is aligned to engine TDC), but i wanted the mech to do what he was comfortable with.
As for the demand for the distributor, prices usually revolve around 2500 if i am not mistaken. Does Rs.2200 sound any good?
