AOA !! Dear Forum Members,

I'm posting this ad. on the behalf of my uncle. He is interested in selling his ::

5 Marla Residential Plot, DHA Valley, Islamabad.

He is demanding 125,000 for the plot.

I have heard many vague stories about DHA Valley, Islamabad. People have paid 2 quarterly installments but still not allotment of plot has been makde in their name. Even people do not know where their plot is located...This is very strange...Do you have complete plot file with map of it...??

Actually this is standard in societies. They first sell files and after certain time they alot plots.

I am not sure about the details, but I heard that plots will be handed over after 3 years (when they launched the DHA Valley project).

Therefore, it's very common for societies in Islamabad.

If this is standard in socities within ISB then I did not had any information about it..But many people are selling their plots in DHA Valley and that is confusing for buyers...

Actually the story of DHA valley is a bit different than these files system.

DHA Valley was originally owned by Bahria town. They made some contract with DHA (it's not public) to develop this particular area in collaboration with DHA. Now there are a lot of rumors about such things as it's still not owned by DHA. There are even some rumors that this particular area isn't yet acquired by Bahria town.

DHA says that they'll hand over the land / plot to the allottee after 3-4 years. Which is another big concern for people with less money in hand :-).

this leads a lot of people to confusion that it might become a conflicted area. That's the reason a lot of people want to get rid of it.

I also mentioned that, it's relatively long term investment / project to get hold of the plot / home. A lot of people who can't spare money for such long are now selling as well.
