Toyota Corolla 1998 (Registered 1999) Originally a 2.0D, now converted to Patrol 5AFE Engine and Engine number transferred on registration book. Registration book is original)

Body: Almost in original paint (few pieces just sprayed, but no potene work)

Color: Golden Metallic

Engine: 5AFE Japanese engine in EXXXXcellent condition, I have chosen the engine very very carefully, it is single self start.

Suspension: Complete (Front + Back) suspension was done a couple of months ago. (Receipt available which shows what work was done)

Transmission: Automatic

Battery: New Excide battery installed 2 months ago

Interior: Excellent condition

CNG Kit: New Lendi renzo CNG kit was installed about 2 months ago. Gives 140 to 145 km within city and more than 180 km on long route.

Security System: Steel Mate 2-WAY security system

Thanks for the offer, but I already have a much much higher offer than yours.

I've spent about 710K on this car (Receipts available to prove it) and it'll be a foolish thing to sale it with such a huge loss. I know that I cannot get even a single rupee profit with this car, but there should be a limit on the amount of loss which I should bear.

The last and final price is 690K in current condition and 680K if I remove my 2-Way security system from this car (which is obviously not the part of standard car accessories) so that I'll install it in my next car.

I want to sale this car coz I need about 150K cash. I'll keep the ad online only for a few days. If I get a buyer within this period, its ok, otherwise I'll not sale this car and will arrange the money from somewhere else.

Brother, u can spend as much money on this car as u can. change shocks again and again, change radiator or do whatever u like. but the buyer shall buy it according to the market condition. there are 2 things which u shouldnt forget. this car was origionally diesal.. due to which u got low market value. the engine is replaced. again low value. the car is painted.. again low value.

Money comes and goes. I'm sure you will get what you need. But you must accept the truth about this car, after all the alterations you have made, the money and effort you have spent on it, the selling price will never match it for the same reason. You know how people are when they hear engine swapped from diesel to petrol etc. etc. Like I said, if your luck is good and you get a buyer with a reasonable offer, go for it, otherwise it will just be better for you to keep it. Thanks brother, I had already seen the ad which you have posted in your last post, but it seemed like a fake post to me because no one just asks 690K for diesel and then after selling it for 525K he posts the selling price again on the ad. I think people who are sensible enough will agree with me. Secondly, comparing the condition of the cars by just seeing pictures is not a good thing. My car is not repainted, just a couple of pieces are sprayed.

I have already mentioned that I have a much better offer than this, so there is no point in offering me this amount.

I returned to Lahore in January and searched the market thoroughly before purchasing this car. So I am very well aware of the recent market price of Indus corollas which are in the same condition as mine. There is no way you can get a car in the same or similar condition as mine in 600K or even in 650K. If you find one, my advice will be to go for it immediately.

I'll keep this ad posted for another 3 or 4 days, If I don't get a buyer in this time span, I'll not sale this car and remove the ad.

My humble request for potential buyers is to go to market and see the price of Indus corollas and then post an offer here. Thanks

Thanks brother, I have realized these facts. I asked 710K (Which is my expenditure for which I have receipts or I remember) just because I know that people in Pakistan do not ever give you what you ask. I had the figure of 690K in my mind from beginning, but just keeping in mind the way of thinking of people, I asked 710K initially.

Now about repaint its a 11 Year old car what you expect? a car scratches or faded car or a car nicely painted i will chose a nicely painted one anyday.

I own a EE90 the kind of upgrades i did to my car the stock EE90 dont have these kind of things not even a/c that actually works :p.

In future i will do the same i will get a Indus shape and go for 7A

brother i had a worst experiance in OCT10, i was in search of a Baleno and on every showroom newpaper pakwheel the price was lyk 625 to 680 for 2005 Model finally i made up my mind that the price wud be in between it. i bought one in 640 just 2 pieces sprayer rest all in origional condition. but after a month i realized lack of pick and some other CNG issue so i decided to sale it. and u wont believe what kind of ppl i meet to sale my car. and no one ever ever offered me more then 560 can u believe. it took me a month to sale it on 580. and ppl were coming to me like 500 and one said 475.. u i realized that its all a fake price hype.. ppl are demanding more and more and sellers are asking for less and less. Pathanon wala hisab chal rahahai. jis ka daoo lag rahahai laga raha hai warna pathan rate...:-!

Only 2 or 3 pieces are sprayed, but even they are difficult to identify because every piece gives exactly the same sound when we knock on it. The seller from which I purchased told me that the pieces are just sprayed because of minor scratches. There was no dent, hence no potene work was done.

As vaqas1 said, it's a 1500CC engine, which came with Japanese corollas of the similar model. Pakistani GLi comes with 4AFE engine which is 1600cc, but 5AFE is more economical than 4AFE.

I request everyone to realize that I've spent about 710K on this car recently and have not taken the services from this car for a long time. I have spent a lot of time on it to make it trouble free, not for anyone else, but for myself. But just because I need some money now, I want to sale it. I am not asking what I have spent on it. I'm asking 690K in the current state and 680K with the security system removed.

I installed steel mate 2-Way security system in this car which I bought for 8500. I needed this system because I have to park the car outside my office. I'll be needing this system for my next car too, so if the buyer wants the car a bit cheaper, I suggest he should go for 680K.

A friend of mine just bought Liana for 695K from an Army officer. Within one month period, noise started to come from front suspension and he took the car to Suzuki authorized dealer. They told him an estimated cost of 70K for the repair and installation of new parts.

I myself bought a Suzuki Khyber 3 years ago and I had to do the complete suspension of the car within 6 months of purchase.

The whole point in telling about this is that I want to make the potential buyers realize that my car doesn't require such kind of expensive works. My car's suspension is already in warranty and I think 4 month warranty period is still left. It's Engine is in superb condition and CNG kit is brand new which can be verified through the car's pics which I have posted.

Those who are thinking that they can buy a 2.0D corolla at a cheaper price and then they can do the conversion so that they can get a similar car than mine at a cheaper price, theoretically they are right, but practically it will be very very difficult. I have recently gone through this whole process and although the final product is very good, but I still don't want to go through this process again in my life. Believe me brothers, yeh mechanics aap ki naak say lakeerain nikalwa daytay hain.

But if anyone has enough spare time and still want to do the experimentation, I suggest him to look for a 2.0D with a good body condition and at cheaper rates because Engine+suspension+CNG+Fitting+Unknown+Duzz >= 150K. For those who are thinking that they can avoid Unknown and Duzz ...... I can just
