So for a start, there is no need of getting personal. I might not be buying it but that doesnt mean I'm here to spoil your thread either. Like I have been saying my replies are for discussion and no harm is meant.
I am an avid k-series fan and maybe I have less knowledge than you about the series. If you can please post a link where I can read up on it that would be nice because honestly I havent come across a jdm base k20a. Can you also post engine figures like hp, torque etc.
As far as your reply goes with all the sarcasm in it, I never mentioned that it was the "true vtec". As most people like to say the k series i-vtec system is divided into two types of i-vtec. The performance vtec (came in the RSX Type S) which is similar to the DOHC VTEC of the B16 with both the intake and the exhaust having 3 cams lobes per cylinder and the economical vtec (mainly in the accord and the CRV) having 2 cam lobe per cylinder that too with different size and none on the exhaust.
