AOA. as the title says up for sale is a lovely near new looking Honda Civic (2006-2012) (REBORN) 8th Gen Leather wrapped multimedia steering wheel with the maximum controls Honda has offered anywhere. It has paddle shifters which add the sportiness and ooomphh!! the leather is in a great nick too and as you can see is very less used. the conditon overall is 10/10 !!

I had this steering kept in reserve for my future ambitious plans of somehow adding paddle shifters to my civic but then didnt really get the time/energies, after project CRUISEMATEC, to go ahead so now decided to put it up for sale. the wiring for Cruise and audio controls is all sorted to work with our local PKDM civic and installation instructions written by me will be included. PLZ NOTE ALL VARIANTS OF CIVIC 2006-2012 ARE CRUISE CONTROL COMPATIBLE!!

I got 8th genration of civic m/t can it b fited on it plus where can i get it install and how it vll work bcoz basic model dnt got that features ?

Sir je what a tempting thing. Sir please tell me if I am right. You need to change odo cluster for the cruise control set up, right?
What else is needed for the setup ?
1. Wiring harness
2. Brake Pedal switch

What else ?

though mentioned in the DIY thread but once again for everyone's info:

u just need a bundle of wires and if you can get hold of crims for the ends to att the wires then nothing like that. ordinary good quality car wiring would do. u need about 4-5 M
ideally the brake switch would be great (aval for 1500 at scrappies) Toyota Vitz brake light switch is exactly the same so you can use that!! if u cant get hold of the brake pedal switch then an ordinary 4 point relay aval with every electrician can be used!! (hardaly costs Rs 150-200)
3, for the manual civic you need a clutch pedal sensor( aval for Rs 500-1000)
Odo needs to be changed. its easily aval in all the maj scrap yard markets. just ask for JAPANESE civic meter from the meter guy. cost would be 9-10k!

@zunny, I mailed you quite sometime back but never got a reply.

BTW, the paddle shifters will only work with an iShift/MultiMatic gearbox (manual shifting capabilites or in desi terms 'tiptronic') which the local Civic lacks.

The hassles incl color not matching. Not sure if clockspring would work.also the steering hub diameter mite not be sane.still nothing isn't impossible and worth a shot.

WA Alaikum Assalam bro. Bro steering is reserved by fellow Pakwheeler.would be clear in a week or so.the buttons in yellow are the multi info buttons which is not present in our local civic cluster. The left buttons are the Bluetooth and phone control buttons. There is no scratch on the leather and like new!!! Double checked again just now.maybe some dirty hand may have touched it.the steering was in my store for quite some time.this pic ws taken without cleaning it.You can buy the clockspring from me for 4K (brand new and sealed)
