It is one of Samsung's PERFECT models. When it was launched, people had problems with things like app compatibility, speed, and stability, but now, my phone's running on a new firmware called n203 which is incredibly fast and reliable, makes the phone feel like a real gem!
The firmware has upped the camera picture quality to the best possible, which for a camera phone is amazing. 8 Mp with a proper lens. I've used plenty of camera phones and this easily trumps them all. The focus lock is MUCH MUCH faster now, which means, quicker shots for surprise moments. Moreover, the i8910 HD now records 24 fps fluid 720p hi-def video with STEREO sound, which is no less than beautiful to behold and hear.
On top of that, fabulous battery life. Hard use takes you through two days almost. You can get more if you tweak the settings.
As for sending a quick SMS, this phone has a rather unique app called SLIDE IT. Youtube it, you'll know. You can write a text that says "this is one of the best phones in the world that you'll ever lay your hands on" in a matter of seconds! Even in URDU!
