Gentlemen,
I checked the Auris speedometer in a 1.8 Altis ATM and a 1.6 Altis ATM both and it worked like a charm. Had no issues in any of them.
The last few weeks have been anything but ordinary for me and cannot dive into such mediums just as yet. I am quite literally unable to write a tutorial at present but will do so as soon as I am able to - this I promise! I understand how eager one is when doing such DIY's and can relate to it but I do ask you all to please be patient and allow me some time.
I have also asked someone who deals in speedometers in Rawalpindi to source the device used for this speedometer's calibrations, mapping and matching with the ECU's. He's already got them for BMW's, Merc's, Audi's, Honda's and Toyota's etc but not one specifically for this speedometer. He's in Dubai at present and returns in a week or so. tjkhattak - he's the same person I gave you the contact info for when we met. Let us hope he finds one. If he does then there would be no need to make any alterations whatsoever and the speedometer will work like it did in the 'donor' vehicle.
Inbox cleared.
takko - I've sent you a message.
Following is a website I have been referring to aggressively over the last year and is quite useful in many many ways when doing DIY's in Toyota's.

devilslayer - It could merely be a grip connection that would need replacing to another slot. We'll work on it when we meet in a week or two Insha'Allah. We'll have it sorted.
