hmmmmm....great going Uxair84 ur the saviour n we all are much grateful for the services n research you are rendering. from what you have told us I can take the inference that we need to recode the speedo. there are people who adjust/reverse mileages and there modus operandi is that as per them they copy so called SOFTWARE of one meter to the other.so if we get that done n copy the so called software of our OEM meters onto this one wouldnt that solve the issues.or if we connect and OBDII scanner to our cars and erase all fault codes wouldn't that solve our issues I think it's worth a shot!!

Precisely!! I'm waiting for this guy to get back from Dubai and this is exactly what I will be doing. I got him to match the mileage on my speedometer with the one I had on my original when I was taking it off so that it continues from there. He did try copying the software but it did not work as my speedometer was too basic (the standard GLi one) and did not have an Altis Speedometer at hand at the time. Anyway, I will be getting diagnostics done via OBDII this week and then link the guy for softwares again when he comes back if the diagnostics don't work.

guys. myself and Qasim aka Fireblade were on a project to find a way to make PKDM civic's tachometer cruise control enabled . we opened up my Civic's tachometer n installed the SMEDs of another reborn civic. Qasim got the software of a Cuise control tachometer . though we wernt successful but i had understood that the cruise control meter had addl resistors and ICs . contacted Qasim today n he had lost his contact details but as per him he is an electrician who has a shop in G-8 markaz and he can do this. so why not contact the guy? he might be able to reprogramme this tacho and erase the fault codes. and also if we go to Toyota and tel them to remove this error using their OBD2 as they have the programming software also? whayt do u guys think?

Okay, here goes another link... Complete Repair Manual for Corolla 2009-2010... BUT please note that this is for US/UAE spec car only...
But you can get a pretty good picture of what to do for Pak spec cars. This zip also contains Body repair and electrical circuits.
