Fuel Consumption?Altis 1.6 vs. Altis Grande?

There is no eco mode in Grande. It's just an indicator that you are driving in an eco-friendly manner consuming less fuel. Switching it off does not change anything.

In Grande Facelift there is a difference however when you switch on Sports mode, the eco indication goes and engine response is stepped up.

There is only sports mode..on/off button.. response becomes aggressiven in sports

Toyota ravi har chez hi kharab kar deti hai waisay.Unka bus chalay to engine bhi change kar dien.Mine at 56k and they’re perfectly fine. Only problem is over services that stealerships are doing to earn money.

Quoting to this after 1.5 year.
My original plugs lasted 85k kms. They were not giving any issue, but tip was about to end so I changed with new ones. 1900/plug from partscentral Lahore.

The Iridium Plugs tips cannot wear and " End " physically like the ordinary "Cu" plugs do. Its electrode tip is laser welded with precious metal like Iridium or Platinum or combination of both. Its resistance (Ohms) starts decreasing over the period of time. The symptoms of which are bad fuel econ in city and highway with constant hypermiling speeds and despite hick-ups if not present shows a heavy feel and very light minute surging at motorway speeds 130 to 160 km/hr or if reved hard.

Its Normal.... Depending upon the traffic rush factor. My friends in Karachi and Lahore having civics and corollas already confirmed a diff of 1-2 km/L generally between the two cities.

I have FL grande
It gives an average of 10-12
Max it gave me was 15.2 km/l
Minimum was 8.4 km km/l

1.8 gives better, personal experience, have kept 1.6 for one year as well.

The difference between 1.6 & 1.8 is only 1- 1.5 km/l.

1.8 has a slightly better fuel economy on motorway speeds due to CVT. A difference of 0.5- 1kmpl max.

In city drive there is no difference in fuel mileage of both cars.
I have kept both. Currently have 1.6

Have tested the mileage of both these cars thoroughly as Im a hypermiler

Even if both cars give same mileage it means 1.8 has better fuel economy.

1.8 has easily 1-1.5 kmpl more mileage..so cvt probably is the reason

Zubair Impex are the best people to go to at Plaza. There is also Yaseen. He's another great guy who sells premium quality petroleum products. His is perhaps the 6th or the 7th shop as you enter Magazine Lane, If you enter from across Gola Wala.

Grande is giving me 11.8 to 13. My daily commute is 18 km. Highest it gave me was 15.2 (urban driving) and lowest 8.4 (when I got stuck in a massive traffic jam). 11.8 is what it is giving me nowadays

Youre going to spend 0.5 million rupees extra on Grande just to get 1km/l extra mileage?

Doesnt sound wise.
