Fuel consumption of city 2014

AOA I have bought 2014 model 1.3 manual city last month.
Its giving me 14.2-14.3 km/L all driven on Islamabad expressway with rpm never exceeding 3000 rpm and speed ranging from 60-85. AC on for most of the time.
Is this fuel average OK?
As I have purchased a 2015 model same car which is giving above 16 on same route.
What can I do to improve fuel consumption of 2014 model?
Any suggestions plz

get your exhaust manifold, catalytic converter checked. fuel injector service may also be needed.
average is not bad though but the drive style you mentioned should yield at-least 16+

what is total odometer reading and service history
btw mileage is awesome
calculate yourself by filling the tank full and check manually

I was also expecting the same consumption.
I got my catalytic converter, spark plugs and air filter cleaned yesterday let's hope mileage improves.
Can u guide what do u mean by "get your exhaust manifold"?

there is no exhaust manifold in city as CAT is directly bolted to cylinder block rather than exhaust manifold

as mentioned above i was a bit on wrong side.

something like this
Exhaust manifolds are generally simple cast iron or stainless steel units which collect engine exhaust gas from multiple cylinders and deliver it to the exhaust pipe.
