Fuel consumption of Honda City Manual

Dear fellows
As per tittle of the thread, I would like to understand the fuel consumption of my ride, Honda City 2012 MT. I got this vehicle, 1.5 months ago and its around 75K driven. More than 95%, it is driven on expressway Islamabad (Koraal Town to I-9). I use normal foot and won't go beyond 3K rpm and 90 km/h and would normally shift gears at 2-2.5K rpm. Always used Attock petrol, Gulberg Islamabad.
I have calculated its fuel consumption to be around 14 km/l without AC, reserve to reserve. I wonder if it is fine or is it giving below the expected mark? As so many members on pakwheel claim quite different consumption figures.
As the summer is approaching, so switching AC, its consumption would go way down compared to the present 14 km/l, so would like to get it in order if it is below the expected mark.

Your Suggestions would be highly appreciated and acknowledged.

You are getting a good average so be content with that imo. Personal experience. Those hyped up figures are rarely found in daily life. Good luck.

just found some people complaining that Attock petrol chokes the catcon owing to presence of lead. Is it true? BTW, govt has allowed Attock refinery to produce ron87 for two years starting Sept-2016

yes its very good average already i am getting around 14.5kml from past 4000km trip in islamabad with almost 50% AC.

How can one know if the catcon has chocked? any signs?

The previous had the catcon serviced at 40K. now ot has clocked 75K. I do not know if it needs claening

Dear Ali, Thanks for your point to point advice.
As per record maintained in the service manual, he had done tappet, throttle, gear oil, brake oil, coolant, brake pads and catcon clean at 40 from Honda Classic I-10.

I have a 2017 honda city manual transmission . It gives 16.5 km/liter in local traffic. On long drives , it gives 19 to 24 km/ liter depending on the quality of fuel.

Tyre size matters a lot. Stick to stock tyre size

are these points recommended by oem .. i have serious doubts .. never heard that tire pressure be checked at 5k or 3 months .. battery tonic between 1 to 5k km .. please quote authority
