In all Honda's there is at least 7.5-8% error in readings. for e.g. 16.5kmpl on the meter means 15.25 kmpl
My city 2015 1.3 manual gives me around 15km on motorway and around 13.5 in city both are with a.c.Is it ok its almost 52000 km driven ...
With AC, It's absolutely normal average. One can achieve max 16.5 on motorway with controlled speed (mostly without AC). In urban, 13.5 with AC is superfine.
500 km is waste of ivtec engine. . .improve driving style n tyre pressures !!KK
i have driven city 1.3L manual 2016 dec model from chashma to karachi and back. . .one side drive was almost 22 hrs. . .it gives 17.5 to 18 kmpL easily with AC and 110kmph on motorway and 80-90 kmph on national highway !!KK
if u drive 95-100 kmpl on motorway with AC it gives 19.5 kmpL easily and on highway 70-80 kmpL speed gives u 20+ kmpL. . .however nos of gear shift and braking must be at minimum n speed be constant !!KK
This is not a hybrid car which will give you 20+ kmpl milage with AC. Be realistic.
I have a Honda City 2012 driven 53k km (I'm the first owner) and have driven my City in Karachi, Rawalpindi/ Islamabad and a trip to the Northern Areas. Used stock EuroStars till 45k km and now using Yokohama BluEarth es32 (185/60). In Karachi with A/C and in traffic it used to give me 13~14km/l. In Rawalpindi/Islamabad it gives me around 16~18 km/l without A/C and only on uncrowded roads ( I drive mostly after rush hours between Islamabad and Rawalpindi). During a trip to the NAs in 2015 it gave me 16km/l overall. I used engine braking a lot during downhill descents and that contributed to the enhanced mileage. I have also checked trip computer's mileage with fuel refills and found it to be reliable and quite accurate. I drive with a light foot and avoid sudden accelerations and high speeds. The City is really an amazing fuel economizing car. No doubt.
My Honda city 2020 average without ac it is 14km/l but when Ac works it's average goes to 8 to 9 km/l.total driven 40k kms . Oil using havolne caltex.
Any suggestion..
without ac, i mostly get 19-20 kmph from chashma to isb 260 km tripKK
improve ur driving style
Yes. On 90kmph cruising speed, without AC it can give upto 20kmpl average. With AC, NO
Adding and just talking Karachi city drive 100km daily from steel mill to PIDC
Which Honda City variant?
Good suggestions. Less braking and steady speed are key to average
I purchased City 1.2 2014 model a month ago. It came to me with fuel average of 11.71 as you can see in the attached pic. Then I did following 1. Cleaning of Throttle body2. Changed all four plugs3. Cleaning of Cat converter4. General tuning 5. Changed original air filter6. Changed engine oil (Honda Oil 5-30 SN)7. Changed transmission oil (Honda original)
After this now i am getting average 15.40 Km/L with AC ON all time in 70% city traffic and 30% highway traffic. You can see in attached pic.
City IDSI 2008 giving 600km in 35litres with AC.
Yes brother, you are right, i also own the Honda City 1.3 2017, the same average i'm getting. On long it gives above 19 to 21. and in city it gives 14 Km/L.
Which plugs you used?
