Fuel Consumption of Vitz 99

Aoa All

I am using Vitz 99/07 registered, i want to know about the fuel consumption as i have got around 6-8 Km/L on petrol within city.
I had performed engine scanning due to constantly occurring engine check light (Orange one) and some air flow sensor error was shown, the person who performed the diagnosis told me that this error effects the fuel consumption of car. Is the reason stated correct ??? After sensor work will the fuel consumption would increase ?? What is the Avg. of 99 model

P.S: The tire size is 185-65-15

Yes bro, bad Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is the main reason for bad fuel average, get it replaced at the first priority.
Normal fuel consumption for 99 model with 1szfe engine would be around 13-14 in city & 16-18 kmpl on highway.
And I think u r mistaking the tire size 185/65/14 with 185/65/15, if actually your car has the 15 size rims then man get them replaced, they are too big for ur 1000cc car, get 165/70/14 or 175/65/14

regarding the fuel consumption 13-14 kmpl is without or with AC ??

With AC, and kindly go for 14 inch rims with 165/70/14 tires. 15's are tooo big for ur 1.0.

According to fault code results, your car badly needs a new MAF sensor.

You can easily get one from kabuli parts market for 1500 - 2500 rs.

i did cleaning of sensor myself today with carb spray due to unavailability of MAF cleaner spray
I drove almost 4 kms on ac but Check light didnt appear till now, i will further check it by doing longer ride.

except this i have noticed that the acceleration response is not so good comparing to manual car it doesn't response sharply when i press the full paddle it gradually increases the acceleration. please clarify me if this is any abnormality or its my apprehension ?
Further in idle condition and AC is on it feels like the car is under acceleration it feels like vibrating a little bit what to do in that case .??

Get your throttle body serviced, if u r feeling vibrations on idling.

Except this what to do with pick up issue, whenever i start the car it doesnt get pickup instantly bit after some time it becomes normal

Does your car has CNG installed in it ?
When did you changed its plugs last time ?

A clogged catalytic converter also create pick up & bad mileage issues. Get it cleaned to be on a safe side. Above all, you have over sized tires, which may let you feel a pick up issue.

cng was installed but it was removed after some time time due to bad response this verdict i heard from seller.
I changed the plugs recently about 4 months back. My running is very low like i use to drive in 15 or more days for a single time.

How many Km's has your car done ?
I would suggest getting the car converter checked if it's clogged get it replaced or cleaned

Bad fuel average & low pick up issues are the symptoms of clogged catalytic converter. However car also act as died to achieve high speeds like 100-120 with clogged CAT. How is your car behaving at high speeds ?

I didnt got the chance to get it click 100 kms
Under 100 its behaviour was ok, this problem is may be due to low running or it may b due to catalytic converter, i will get it cleaned asap.
Also the o/d sensor was not working since i bought the car today when the car got off after startup suddenly the o/d off light appeared on restarting the engine and then i got off as before..
Btw which sens9r deals the o/d option ??
