As per my understanding, there are two kind of fuel filters.
One is installed in the fuel tank.
And other we install manually in the engine room by cutting the incoming fuel pipes and install fuel filter there.
Incase you want to change which is in Fuel tank, then don’t go for alternatives. Just stick to OEM. Though expensive but peace of mind is there.
And if you want to install it in engine room, then these fuel filters are available like Rs. 250 only and easy to install/replace. Hardly takes 5 min.
And for future try to top up immediately when fuel level comes till 1/4.
