Fuel sale in open bottles and containers?

i got this notice today when i was filling petrol at Caltex Pump,, in i9 islamabad
What are your views?
what could be the logic behind it?

as a side note in Tribal Areas no fuel is given in bottles ,, if u go for it, u may be in troubles,,,diesel is used as mosquito repellent and it works wonders if u rub small quantity of it,, but its not available on open sale (bottles etc) only it can be filled in a vehicle,

hmmm.... its a very good thing if the pump waalas refuse to give fuel in bottles as per the instruction... making a law isn't a problem here, its implementation is...

A lot of havocs are caused by fuel in bottles which explodes like a grenade if subjected to a spark.

ye kia baat huee ???? In order to purchase fuel, u must own a car... aur ye b ho sakta hai k aap k car kahin raastay mei khari ho fuel khatam hone ki waja se, infact this is the case 90% of the time

I think the reason is because their meters are not correct, i.e. they are set to over charge. Almost all petrol pumps have wrongly calibrated their meters to show more, like they fill 850ml as 1 litre. Now if you take a 1.5 litre bottle they will fill it in about 1.8 litres (since their meters are fast) and will get caught. In Lahore most pumps will simply refuse to allow filling open bottles and canisters for this reason and the ones that do allow will simply ask you to use some other pump. Our office boy goes to fill diesel in cans for our office generator. The PSO that he goes to allow him to fill diesel only from a specified pump where no truck or car is allowed to fill from. They say it is because they want to have the other pump clear for diesel vehicles. But that is simply retarded as all customers pay same diesel price. Plus usually i have never seen more than 1 vehicle waiting to get diesel at that pump (mostly there is no vehicle at all to get diesel filled).
To avoid an uncomfortable situation where they fill 1.8 litres in a 1.5 litre bottle of say Pepsi, they have written such a thing. There is no such law. You can buy fuel from any station in any container/vehicle that you like. You can even put diesel in you cd70, there is no law against that
If you have some PAWA then take your cd70 to a pump when it has absolutely no petrol and watch how they manage to fill around 11 litres in your tank. Then use your PAWA to have fun with them

It is ********. Let the summers arrive with great Load shedding then you will see these so called pumps will give you fuel for your generators. What's the hell with these law makers can't they see other things? How people will manage once their car/bike stop with Empty fuel tank?

Lets suppose If a person is traveling with his family his daughters, wife and mother and he is the only male in the vehicle. Petrol station refused to give him fuel then what that guy will do ? Hell on these law makers.

but motorcyclists ka ksar rasta ma petrol khata,m ho jatha ha,,epecially if it ir it is being rode by more then one ,,,
us case ma bothal ma hi pump sa petrol lana partha ha,,
par ya log daitha nahi,,
