Not exactly, good quality petrol as compared to our conventional petrol would give us good milage and better performance, both! on the same cars we have.
As to how effective that fuel saver is, I don't know.

I purchased this type of mag fuel saver way back in 1996 for Rs3000/-. Changed it from car to car thereafter with no significant results. Now its some where collecting dust. Just useless and dont waste yr money on it.

These are what they say they are "As Seen On TV". They are no good except when they show it to you on TV. Do No waste your money.

You can save more fuel by keeping your car in tip top shape and good tyre pressure and maintainance. I can tell you a lot more things but they are not knew they are already there in your owners manual

So instead of wasting that money why don't you spend to maintain your car, it yeild much better results.

Sir have not tried them yet, but it is clearly written in my Civic, Accord and Mercedes owner's manual that they are not recommended.

So using them can be tricky if you engine is already working fine.

If such products really worked, there would be a big market for them, any everyone would know about it. I for one will not consider trying these 'miracle' products at the risk of ruining the engine.
