FuelEx, fuel saving device?

Hi everyone,

I was in one of the Rawalpindi auto workshop area, and happened to see an add of Fuel saving device.

The add claimed that the device will work for most of the engines running on cng, petrol and diesel and will increase the fuel efficiency by 30, 20 and 15% respectively. The device is basically 2 pieces of plastic containing tiny magnets and it is supposed to be fastened to the fuel line entering near the carburetor, etc.

The question is, that has anyone tried this on their car?, or is it this just a gimmick. Below is a cover photo of the device. The theory projected behind better fuel efficiency is that when the fuel passes through the fuel line which is wrapped by the device, the fuel is ionized and hence better consumption. The retail price on the device is Rs. 2500 approx.

seems u have already purchased this add on. let us know if it really works or not.

i personally think it would hardly make much difference cause if such devices really worked(30% saving), every other car on the road would be using it here in Pakistan

No, I haven't purchased it yet, although I did happen to go to the same shop again, today. With the price tag of rs.2500, I don't want to experiment with it. Besides I am a diesel consumer for now and don't travel much.

it really works but here in lahore for 1000cc Rs. 1200 and above 1000cc Rs. 1500

I re install that IT REALLY WORKS

1.Reduce engine noise (little bit)
2.Increase pickup feeling of softness in accerlation
3.they claim that it gives 20% increase in milage in DIESEL but i will say 12-13%

One of my friends experience in Honda City is amazing (on petrol) he says before FuelEx car gives 16kmltr but soon after instaltion it it is giving 20KM/ltr but on CNG he did not get results.

so guys whats the verdict who has used to for a long time ,what are the results petrol any1 ?.

I will try and get this from Karachi, if the price is around Rs.600. If I can get it, I will install it and will let you know about the results for diesel.

Its a number 2 of actual device which is called as fuelmax and is made in USA.I got one in 1996 for Rs 3000/- to fit it on my Daewoo but did not do any calculations as at that time fuel was Rs14/- per lit.
Later I installed CNG.Anyway in 2004 I purchased City iDSi and installed it and found an average of 14 to 16Kms per litre in first 1500 kms that improved to upto 18 Kms per litre by 3500 km of running.

If you are using EFI vehicles, then they are already set up on the most economical norms. No need of such a device I think. Rest can test it on Carbs.

If Fuel can be saved like this than Adam Motor, Suzuki and Toyota etc sell their cars with such devices for a higher rates.

If the compaies are not selling then its must be 2 number thing

Hey this really does work but i dont know about this brand in the good ones from a company called MaxPower and im just not stating that this works it has been tested by the Irani gov.
Iran has a major auto pollution prob. so they asked for such a device that would ensure the cars to burn all the fuel up and not to put any to waste by the exhaust so they ordered about 12 million of these or so and within a year they notice alot.....u google it n find the ...... but heres the site and for the fuel x u might be paying to much bro... also i think u can make this urself all you need to get is some earth magnets not normal magnets
