G13bb Engine Advice Required

Aoa,
I have a Vitara 3 door vehicle. Its fitted with G16a (carburetor) engine. To stay away from regular tuning and low fuel economy due to carburetor, I wanted to convert my setup to MPFI / Efi. As G16b (Efi) engine is too costly, I want to buy and get fitted a G13bb engine (of Suzuki Baleno) in my Vitara. As per my knowledge, already installed gear box assembly of G16a need not be changed and G13bb has similar HP but a little less Torque comparatively. G13bb engine was also used in Suzuki Jimny 98-05 models having similar curb weight, so I am hopeful that the engine wont be too underpowered. I hope to confirm if my conversion idea is worth while, and I need advice on following :-
1. From where in Rwp / Isl can I get a good deal on buying G13bb engine (excluding transmission) and what should be the cost?
2. Is there any known reliable mechanic / electrician in Rwp / Isl who can get G13bb engine fitted in my vehicle in reasonable cost?

G13 and G16 have similar prices. Get G16B

G15 shud be abundantly available in same price range of g13bb, its a similar looking engine (similar to g16b) and sold by scrappies as g16b

my personal idea is most of g13bb available in scrapyard are civil, means they are local engines disguised/tempered as kabuli...

I was quoted in Sultan ka khoo price of G13 @ Rs 70,000 and G16 @ Rs 100,000 ... only engine assembly. But I think even these prices are highly exagerated.

What do you suggest? Considering price difference & performance vis-a-vis fuel economy, should I go for G15/16 or G13?

Converting from non efi to efi, u need complete engine with all sensors, alternator compressor etc

Also u need complete uncut wiring with ecu

Also u might be needing instrument cluster compatiable to efi engine.

Further its better that u shud get the efi fuel tank with built in fuel pump and fuel guage instead of modifying thr stock tank.

As far as fuel consumption, i can tell u that g16b in baleno body can return u 10 km per liter for within city drive with AC and on highway it can go upto 15 km per liter upto speeds of 120 km per hour.

However g13bb may return upto 12/13 for within city drive.

G16b is efi version having 16 valve as compared to non efi 8 valve version. And its recommended considering the curb weight of vitara.

Wat is ur current fuel consumption, u might expect marginal improvment in fuel with efi but dont expect miracles.

Better to stay with original engine and try tunning it optimaly which is close to stock settings.

I am getting 8 kmpl within city and 10 kmpl on long route. All mechanics who have checked my vehicle, point the consumption issue to bad carburetor. New carburetor available is only of chinese origin (mehran - double pump). I need only 150 cfm which can be provided by mehran's double pump carburetor.
However, I was of view that instead of spending 12k on new carburetor for experimentation, I should spend 50-60k on new efi engine for permanent results. It is only possible with G13bb engine.
I think efi system employed in G series engines is quite simple. Just need complete engine w/sensors, ecu, wiring and fuel pump for complete setup.
I would be more than happy with 12-13 kmpl fuel average within city drive.
Do you have any idea of reasonable engine cost and good mechanic for the job?
