my uncle installed this in his home geysers
and told me it makes considerable amount of saving in gas bill
i am to late now for this winter.

its perfect time that solar geysers should be brought in Pakistan so save gas , we`ve waisted our natural resource in geysers , cng n all

I think it is a useful device and every gyeser should have it installed. The SNGP has reduced the price from 650 to 450 and u can order it by calling their phone number printed on the back of gas bill. They will come and install it and price will be charged in the next month bill.

Guys it was developed before my eyes when i was a student at Chemical Engg Dept in UET Lahore. Dr. AR Saleemi & Dr. Tajwar were main research persons behind it and it was unveiled at a ceremony at our dept by SNGPL. I have seen its other variants too but their cost was beyond the desired level. Data showed its worth it so go for it

Solar geysers are waste of Money, we have one at home and it only works in summer when there is no need to hot waters. It's better to buy gas instant geysers they are much efficient and save bucks too. This winter these instant geysers worked and the solar one was at backup with no hot water

I had ordered this device and today they came and put it in the gyser. After sometime i checked the gyser and found the burner is off. I ignited it and it was ok but after sometime it was again off. So after many tries, i have put that rod out of gyser and now the gyser is working fine like before. Any idea what happened and what to do next ?

Reduce Gas pressure by adjusting the valve lever. The gas is too rich. Also make sure the baffle does not completely block the output from the top...just a little distance should be there.

The SNGP worker who came just hanged it there with the help of one hook. It is not properly adjusted and placed as it should be between the exhaust pipe, i think.

Can anyone tell is it easily DIY. If yes, which metal gauge "Danda" should we use for efficiency? 16 gauge or 14 gauge? How it should be installed in existing old geysers? Any precaution to be kept in mind?
