Gear changing issue on first start of the day

Hello everyone,
i hope you are doing great today. I am facing problem with my swift 2012 mode at the first start in the morning, problem is that my car does not change gear easily, but once i drive it for like 5-10kms the problem goes away plus the performance of the car is perfect clutch plate does not seems to be slipped or anything like that. my mechanic told me something is wrong with clutch or pressure plate and some people told me that it is because of cold climate gear oil needs time to warm up...i start driving it after 2mins of start up. Please i need expert advice what should i do? thank you for your anticipated response.

is the gearstick heavy to move when cold? or is it easy but refuses to go into gear?

and

do the gears engage with the engine off but dead cold?

Thank you for the reply.it is normal and easy to handle but refuses to shift in gear. whenever i am in hurry i turn off the engine and change the gear to 1st or reverse as required with the parking style.once it is at normal temperature gear shifting looks fine. If I start the car and warm. it up for 5-10mins everything becomes normal at first start of the day. furthermore, my car has driven 80,000kms.

your clutch friction plate is glazed over. When you try to move the stick to reverse when cold, does it make the clash noise?

yes bro. I think swift has got this issue from factory. should I go for the new set of clutch?

yes you will need a new clutch set.

Bad clutch pressure plate.
This is a sign of bad clutch pressure in swift...don't forget clutch release bearing aswell get it new aswell. And use fcc clutch plate.
Get it replaced and gears will be smooth even if you take it to the moon after replacement.

and dont forget to burnish the clutch after installation, usually pro level shops know this and wont handover the car to owner immediately after the job. They burnish it themselves.

Okay. Thank you for the guidance. Do you know any good place where i can find fcc clutch plate? Is it possible if i install high performance clutch plate? Or should i stick with original one?
