Gear issue

I need help and exp opinion here on a issue recently faced.

Its a 1.6 eminent variant. The gear transmission has been found to have some issue all of sudden. When on D mode, the gear somewhat disengages suddenly and when revved, the rpm increases but car doesnt move. Now when this happens and i turn the engine off, switch it on again the gear engages again and continues to move for some 8-10 seconds and then disengages again.

I faced the issue today only and now looking for possible causes solutions to this before i go to some ustaad.

Any idea what could be the issue here??

time to change the transmission fluid.
check the transaxle code over the vehicle id plate in engine bay. Google it.
if i remember correctly automatic Liana 1.3 & 1.6 both have 4 speed auto transmission and it will take T-IV ATF fluid.

Already changed the ATF a month ago. Checked the oil level and it seems normal

As per analysis by a mechanic, gearbox needs to be replaced.

Guys, about to change the gearbox now.
Now i jeed suggestions for gearoil, heard zic oil is best. But there are two variants available in zic, which one should be used??
