I recently bought a 2010 gli 1.3 manual transmission with 160,000 on the clock.I was planning to change its gear oil and filter, no issues with it just for better drive,should i go for it?would it cause transmission failiure?
Nope. It won't cause transmission failure, as long as you pour in the recommended transmission fluid.
Rather I would suggest to change it, if it hasn't been changed.
