Got it. Suggested that guy both options.Of 1uzfe or 3uzfe.& also of engine rebuild. Currently he's running cng on it xD
dont toyota it, its gutless - you need low down torque in that.
Yeah plans are rebuilding it & supercharging it with suction ducts.
I was going to take my 1.5 prosmatec to mechanic because of light jerk at lower gears while shifting I had vitz before .and i never felt this mild jerk at shifting gear .....
Vitz is cvt, this is dct
This is prosmatec not DCT.
Dct is a different name for Prosmatec
Isn't Prosmatic simply ect electronically controlled transmission?
No.
Prosmatic is not a DCT(Dual Clutch Transmission). It is a simple run-of-the-mill torque converter automatic. Don't know where you have read that prosmatic is a DCT, care to give your sources?
I remember someone telling me so
no its not, dct is dual clutch transmission, Honda prosmatec is a regular step shift transmission with added learned sequence and ECU capable of adjusting to torque load and driving style and also vehicle stability control (if equipped)
Prosmatec is not DCT
