I got these delivered today.

I got these at wholesale price

These tires are very quiet - I know that for sure and they perform flawlessly in the rain too. Which there is a lot of in Houston. Being V rated and 440 UTQG wear rating. Im thinking about 35,000 miles of service from these on the benz.

All cars wear tires but mercedes are very hard on them.

I dont want tires that last for the life of the car as they are usually hard as plastic, ride rough as rocks and have grip of oily hands on polished metal.

I usually only install michelin but this time the cost factor was really great - literally these tires cost me 45% of any lowest rate michelin.

I know how these tires roll, my company's cars have them. Not very OMG, not very cool, Very quiet and good for wet highways at a good cost factor.

Sir these are high grade touring tyres which compare with like of Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 & Pirelli P4.

Never seen any of those even in Shershah.

Here what we have in the name of General Brand are tyres which even do not have date stamped on it.

OK - ill snap a few

These are not usually available in retail stores either, usually dealerships selling tires have them or are ordered though an online shop (like I did) These are also V speed rated - the usual availability is H speed rated, The V rated tire is specified for this car, im pretty sure Im not going to take it to 250 km/h but being V rated - they are a bit more grippy and stable (and they only took about 5 grms to balance out)

The general tires we get factory fitted here are only capable of taking the car from the dealership to the tire shop. They sound like a television with no signals at 80kmph.

Yeah - thats a shame, General tires like these were the factory install on some mercedes ML too. The difference is "competition for quality"

in Pakistan - its more like "thuggery" - General sb makes some tires and forces local assemblers to buy for sake of "Pakistani jobs" no matter if they are rolling out egg shaped tires made of plastic. For some other assemblers its price because they know their buyers wont question them at all. They will still buy the car if it had wooden wheels on it.

In the USA - if a tire fails due to design defect on a large number of cars - that company is going to face serious music.

nah nah remedy would be a Jenian japaaani used re re re re re Threaded Duloop with different profiles on all 4 corners as for many every car is made in Japan even Kia merc and Hyundai

UTQG rating is not a universal constant it varies within a manufacturer. btw - The true plush ride of a Mercedes Benz is only achieved with Michelin or Continental brand tyres. These are sort of a compromise but I got them reallllly cheap. Road noise is a giant problem in the USA because the roads are actually concrete with wood separators (like aircraft runway) - If you ran a Mehran here you would go deaf in a month.
