Vtec wired to a button like nos? Funny but i always think of doing something like that. 
Now. Ecu will not adjust the AFR and timing right with different head, for not what it was mapped. Ecu will be going nuts with that vtec button pressed.
First thing you need is a chipped ecu.
2nd d series does not has that much potential staying n/a. Until you are throwing extremely aggressive aftermarket cams with b series transmission etc etc.
You want total 140 figures or want to add that in current power?
And that's not what stage 1 is.
