Great idea.will do it step by step. where to purchase the 25ampere relay in karachi.
Did u start the ur generator with the moded NG kit which u made how is it working?

Today i went to hunt the HT coil wire but was unable to locate it because when I followed it from spark plug it went somewhere in between the engine and was difficult to sight.
However for kill switch I inspected the wires coming to the ignition switch
and this is what i found


When I close wire 1 and 2 the self started.
Now my question is If I close wire 2 and 4 the ignition will be on ON position, Right??
If I close wire 3 and 4 the generator will switch OFF, Right?
Because that unknown wire must be of ignition.
Should i go for wire 2 & 4 or for wire 3 & 4 for my kill switch?? Help will be appreciated. Thanks

u can only if ur generator is with self start or else u have to make it self start first....
and price of the ats depends ...if you wana make ur own price will be less,if you have a plan on getting one from the market it will be from 15to30k.

yes my generator is self start and will be making ats with help of my uncle

helo pws , just buy a new generator and made a new and modified ATS in just 2 hours ,,,,,,,,,,,,,circuit is same as the one i made before and also share on PW , just add a digital display meter in it ,,,,,,,rest is all same ,,,,,,,,,,,
also find price of gas solenoid valve , its easily availabe but expensive ,,,,,,cost 1700Rs ,,,,,,,,,,,,i havent buy it because i have always such things one spare in my home to use in case of emergency , that one i pulled from instant water heater ,

dont connect 2 and 4 other wise HT coil will be all over and cost you 550 Rs , forget the 2 empty connections,,,,,,,,,,,,when you short circuit 1 and 2 generator will start ,,,,,,,,,,,,,and when you stort 3 and 4 generator will be off ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the HT wire which you were tracing is 4

the one i use in that ATS is of 25 Amp 12 V coil and its mostelly used in high power stablizers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you batter look for change over relay,,,,,,,,,,its also of same power but with 2 points,,,,,,,,,,,,,,mean you can control both -ve and +ve with that ,,,,,,,,and the coil is also of 220V , mean no need to add 12V transformer

no mod is needed other than gas kit installing and ATS connecting ,,,,,,,same type of venturi i use ,,,,,,,,,,,,nothing different ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,you look for the shop which cell electrical accessories , who sell pannel board accessories , high power circuit breakers

ok thanks
but about attaching the solenoid its better to attach it
to the pipe supplying NG right
not after the outlet of NG and between the one going to the venturi.

well i have think about that a lot ,,,,,,,,,,,,,previously i though installing a fx cylincer will fix this problem,,,,,,,,,wrong,,,,,,,,,,,800CC exhaust cant work on 163 cc engine,,,,,,,,,,,,you have to instal a 4 stroke 200cc riksha exhaust which is almost the same size as that of fx ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
if you messing with some mechnical noice then sort it out as well,,,,,,,,,,,lose tappets can produce noice,,,,,,,,,,,,,denmo bearing can also make noice,,,,,,,,,,,,,replacing the cam shaft with teflon can make engine much silent , but i guess lioncin come with teflon cam shaft,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

bro iam thinking to place generator on roof and willing to start it from ground floor with gas valve on same place .... how to extend is ignition to ground floor. ( my house is single story).

When i take load off of it, it shuts down after a minute. This is how it is programmed to be. But the problem i see is that that engine shuts down with a lot of vibration and rumbling. Is it because of very rich fuel? btw, it runs on natural gas.

i think by putting ur generator on roof will be more disturbing due to vibrations i guess ...

My generator is also on 3rd floor roof in a room and we live on 1st floor. when we switch on the generator we dont hear any noise or vibration, complete silence.

Today I tested the by shorting wire 4 and 3 i.e HT coil to ground and the generator sucessfully turned off now i will attach a relay for auto kill switch

aite but guess his house was single storey and with no room for genny on roof
