I have purchased all things of ATS except 555 IC timer, 6 point switches and gas solenoid for Rs 1300.
Q.1. The wires of 12 volt transformer are very thin are they safe in the circuit? yes it will be safe ,keep in mind that the power of that transformer depends on the input of solenoid ,,,,,,,because that transformer will power that solenoid when generator will be on , during starting it will be powered by battery,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you chose small transformer then it may wont be able to run that solenoid valve ,,,,,,it will be batter if you test run that solenoid valve with that transformer (after connecting diode bride),,,,,,,,,,
Q.2. In 12v transformer the output has 3 wires. which two are for 12 volt AC?
be care full with those wires,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if those wires on input then it means that transformer works on 220 V and 110 V ,,,,,,one wire is of neutral and other two will be of 220 and 110 V , if you mix up and use 110 V then it will be all over in few seconds,,,,,,,,,,,,,mostelly the center wire is of 110V , means you have to use the 2 corner wire for 220V ,,,,,,,,
,,,,,and if those wire will be on the output then may be that transformer is of 12V+12V ,,,,,,,,,,,in that case you have to use a center wire and any one of the corner wire,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,mean leave the wire on one corner and use rest,,,,,,,,,,,,
Q.3. Instead of 555 IC can I use a 12 volt DC time delay circuit that operates a relay? no , you cant use that ,,,,,,,,,,,,,battery save the pic of circuit in cell phone and search from market ,,,,,,,,,,,,
Will upload the pics soon
