sharyyyyyyy i had the same problem battery was getting drained because of gas solenoid for that what i did was modified the circuit in way that as soon as gen starts gas solenoid is shifted to gen 12v output

Really have no idea, as we dont turn it on much so far due to UPS. was hoping someone will have rough estimates of NG usage?

i dont understand why you guys modify that simple circuit which i share ,,,,,,,,,,i am using that same circuit for last many years and i dont think it need any modification ,,,,,,,,,,just use that blue print which i last share ,,,,,,,,,,,

you only need to adjust the governor arm ,,,,,,,,,,,, change the governor arm spring and also the throttle lever spring need to change ,,,,,,i you can open up the crank case for governor gear change then i am sure you can do this adjustment ,,,,,,,,i have share that with pic ,,,,, may be many many pages before ,,,,,,,,,,,

@MoizIrfan I have changed the governor gear but still facing problem. The only major issue is that I turn on my 1.5 ton AC, and set frequency to 48 Hz, but when the AC trips, frequency goes up to 70 Hz; and vice versa if I adjust frequency to 50 Hz without AC, it drops to 35 or even some times gen dies when AC starts. Very lucky to get your reply and having you online right now. I already changed governor gear, spring, throttle rod and spring but to no avail. Then I changed my carbeurator and rpm governing is fine now.

I had another problem from a few months that the generator doesn't start without pulling choke to full. But once it starts, it feels like generator can't handle such a concentrated mix of ng and starts missing. During operation it works well at half choke. I don't think I should need to pull the choke for starting. I have my NG kit moded and not using any solenoid. NG pressure is very good. Please help guru.....

@agoodfriend thanks for the pics; I have all your overhauling and ATS posts and pics saved in my PC; I have successfully overhauled two engines four times (twice each) one is a 6500 model (as they call it) 420CC and the other one is 3500. I knew nothing about engines and with your pictorial demonstrations, it was like a piece of cake. Just went to turner for engine block boring.

A lot of people have admired the forum, your posts and way of explaining but I have simply no words to admire your help. With your posts, I have saved thousands of rupees, got piece of mind and most of all satisfied my passion for DIY. Many thanks to you.

Friends I have 3s engine with 22kw brushless dynamo. It is running smoothly on natural gas. But I m going to install it on my farm house where natural gas is unavailable . I want to ask if I run it on lpg cylinder or petrol which option is better. Further there is no carburettor installed plz guide me waiting for your suggestions thanks

Thanks @omron; That's a very good idea; I'll surely try to make videos in parts if I have to overhaul any of these two engines in future. In order to make it more perfect and professional, I believe we should first get the stuff approved from agoodfriend. After all he is the real guru here.

I haven't ever uploaded any video on pakwheels and don't know if there is an option; please share if you have any knowledge about how to upload videos for PW forums or if there is some other convenient place where anyone may benefit.
