I hope this helps. U buy a new plastic guage of oil and insert a metal pipe through it. i have put the pipe which is used for connecting rubber gas pipes.

Usmanbhutta buy a time delay the one u r sayinr only on timer and add a variable resistor between pins 2and 7 of 555 timer ic

usmanbhutta 4k variable resistor would do fine just calibrate it as you want

tried today but failed
wasted tym and money
added 5k variable between pin 2 and 7 but nothing happend
relay remains on

Guys plz help me.... i have JD generator at home running flawlessly since last 5 years but now its giving strange problem. when it is started the voltage is at 220v for around 15-20 min after this the voltage drops to 40-50 v and it runs like that. when started after an hour or so it will repeat the same behaviour. I dont want the mechanic to fool me so plz give your input.

Summer is again on head, I bought JD 8000 EBT in April 2012, In two summer seasons it did very well on ATS, after 2800 Hrs, it used to give smoke, I ran this generator from april 2012 to aug 2013 on just 12 liter of engine oil. I bought 3 gallons of oil in start. Amazingly my it ran 2800 hours perfectly before it started to consume oil drastically.

I can't do the mechanics job my self. Although I wanted to.
I asked a mechanic to do it. He overhauled it and gave me the bill. You guys are genius and know what the parts need to be changed and their price. Pls check it for me here is his bills.

everything price is fare... but i didnt get why the mechanic Put New Camshaft of 1350Rs... i bought my generator in 2011 .. ALhamdulillah.. last year main ne khud overhaul kia tha.. abhi tak uski Camshaft nhi dali... 2nd thing is Complete Head... why he installed the completely new head... agar valve leak thay... to new valve dal deta bus... mechanic ne apko thora thaga hai BHai
