whenever i open head, the first thing i do is check for the play in piston, piston had no play absolutely. what do you say about carberator thing gen is running rich on petrol there will always be some fuel left in intake valve which will cause pathaka, correct me if i am wrong.

while i time pass at PW, i find this hot discussion for generators, in my point of view generator should be good in start, and carry full load, secondly its conversion process (ATS) must be easy. we take its self button at ground story near by main switch, we manually convert and push start button, and how its good start directly at gas, see my video.

no need to cut off gas any time, 24/7, just push and gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrh

I think my generator guy deliberately removed gaskit seal so oil leaks and he then comes n services the generator

Did I get it right.

Once again the same question;

My generator's RPM drop significantly at full load (Frequency drop from 50Hz to 36 Hz). I can manually increase the RPM by moving governor arm, which means engine is fine and can take load.

What I have already done is.

• Adjusted governor-throttle positions
• Changed governor gear inside the crankcase
• Changed Carburetor
• Tappets adjusted
• Plug gap is fine
• NG adjustment made

What else can I try; any help.

Note: Governor arm moves but not to its full capacity; when load is put, it goes half way and if more load is applied RPM start to decline.

thinking of buying a new genset. requirement is that it must run 1.5 ton AC, along with TV and 3-4 fans and 6 lights... how many KV should I go for to be safe? any should I get a 16 valve generator made from engine or buy a branded one in islamabad?

i think the ng kit is faulty which i got free with the gen what do u say??

See if u can borrow some gaskit to test but i don't think its faulty or maybe your gen is old hence weak valves. how many hours since last head/valve work?

Did u know here in karachi at jackson market 0.75 ton Vertical AC are available for rs 15000 approx. One can buy that to run on Generator. It takes 3 to 4 amperes when running

And what would be its starting surge ? As 1 ton ac running power is1200w its starting surge is 3 times the running current, what do you say ?

I don't know its initial starting surge. my guess is around 2500w and 900w when running. don't have its pics.

generator is brand new 25 hours old 17 hours ran on petrol was taking load of ac on petrol with fridge freezer and ups running on it brand is firman quality is v good no oil at breather pipe

A/C compressor surge is nothing for it on petrol along with the mentioned load.
