if you want to make ats use this diagram really simple. i also made my ats with this diagram. first one is for Ats.

this one is for Changeover

ChangeOver Box will be placed near your Main Panel Board. If you want you can also make Ats and Changeover In One Box. i Also Made my ATS and Changeover in One Stabilizer Box.

You can get all the parts from sadar zaibun nisa street electronics market . and it will cost you around 2000 to 3000 with box [h=3][/h]

i wanted to know if the diagram below is a working ATS + CHangeover or not?

this image was uploaded by Moiz, however i don't see switch 'S3' in the diagram as labelled on top left.

waiting for your replies, as i need to make one ATS for myself.

Ignore S3. i have removed it to make ATS easier

I also wanted to know if the Switch S2 works as auto/manual switch? what if we want to switch off ATS and use generator manually for any reason.

then u replace S2 with a 6 point centre off position. Then at centre position Generator will be manual provided u cut the supply of R3 relay also.
I have done this too and added an additional on/off switch at R3 relay.

Another thing, is the 12v transformer with diodes getting power by KESC? means when KESC is present, R3 will keep getting power?

if we want to add a timer before generator shuts down, how can we do it?
for instance, if i want that when KESC powers comes back, the load shoud be converted immediately to KESC, but the generator should get killed after 5 seconds of that.
for the same reason that we want to start the generator without load, i want it to shut down without load also.

u have to set a timer before R3 relay and set it to 5 seconds. so when KESC comes , after 5 seconds gen will shut down. but no need for such thing. keep it simple.

Hi, guys

I am using JASCO DB-3800 3.1 KW 8HP last two months. Changing oil every 15 days Havoline CNG. Maintained in good condition.

Recently it is giving problem: suddenly it takes hickup (hichki) once in a while dimming electric power for less than a second then back to normal.

I have thoroughly cleaned spark plug to clear doubt whether plug electrodes are OK and may be HT current is leaking but no avail. I also increased CNG pressure to clear the doubt. But problem still.

Can this problem be due to tappet clearances? I have not checked/adj since purchased. What is recommended setting on gas?

after how many hours operation should I change oil. currently I change every 15 days that is approx 80 to 90 hrs. but I am always using havoline CNG and someone recommeded to use GTX or Havoline regular red color. because havoline CNG is thin.

Gurus, help me, my generator making distinct metal impacting sound like tick tick/kink kink, the sound can be heard from head area, please download and watch video file attached (size 50mb) and help me identify the cause, because i am worried if it will be catastrophic for me, i have checked tappets,spark gap and all other things, besides i am using Zic oil 15-40 viscosity,

All right guys, I doubted on exhaust valve malfunction, opened it and found lot it carbonized all inside. I observed the place on valve which sits in valve seat is not shiny as it should be. may be valve is not seating properly and leaking.

I have given head and piston top full cleanup and valve little lapping. assembled it back. so far seems good but on test.

Now My question is why head carbonized only in three months usage? I am maintaining it well. oil change on time. good care. it is only three months old. should i expect similar service required after next three months?
