Is this t screw?
The t screw is also used for setting load. Correct me if I am wrong. Is the rpm changes when we adjust this t screw? Or rpm only changes when we adjust this screw.

The Gaskit T Screw is to be adjusted such that the Rpm becomes stable (Meaning now the gas/Air ratio is OK). The second screw is just to set the minimum RPM (Aka race) so that gen doesnot shut down. After setting the T screw of gaskit then press the governor manually. The RPM should increase smoothly and if engine stalls & shuts down then T screw of gaskit is incorrect

By the way are you trying to set the Gen on gas without pulling any choke? if not this is the first step. set the choke to half position fix it there then adjust the gaskit T screw, check governor if engine doesnot stalls, the idle rpm as per your requirement

But at somewhere in this thread I read that rpm much be such that the frequency should be 55hz

yes u are right thats the last step (fine adjustments) once you have set your gas on Gas on load

Moiz bhai from where you buy your tools for generator like feeler gauge,spanners, Hz meter. And from where you buy parts for ATS. I am thinking to make a simple circuit which works like that,
I switch on the key. The circuit let some petrol in carburetor then when I turn key to ignition it after 20 seconds is switch on gas. Comment about it

Wont work like this. Saddar coperative market back side. There u can buy all electrical stuff. Tools from any hardware/car spare parts shop.

Here is the logic on which your gen will work.
Gas kit gets supply gas all the time. ensure gas is not leaking from outlet of Gaskit.
You switch on your circuit the petrol solenoid release petrol in carburetor for max 2 seconds and shuts down.
Then as it shuts down the self starts to kick in.
Gen starts on petrol and shift to gas automatically.
As gen starts supply to self disconnects

Dear don't do any experiment with this kit, buy a new one, no need to leak the kit, no need install any solenoid, no need to adjust anything on daily bases, just install and run your generator on first self,

@MoizIrfan bhai. I have open up the gas kit to install idle screw. Check the pictures of my kit and point out where should I install idle screw . Thanks..

For few days my generator would just stall after few seconds of starting. Would run fine on cranking again.
But today it refused too keep running. Would stall again and again.
When i started to check out the problem it got worse.
Changed the plug. Run for few minutes this time but again stalled. Adjusted the tappets also but problem remained.

Now it hesitates to speed up and misfires and back fires and randomly jerks and stalls... Finally it did some firing through exhaust...

Cam its cam for valves be the issue? As the ignition is happening at intake and st exhaust randomly.

UPDATE
The oil seepage got worse today when i was trying to start with my mechanic. The oil totally leaked out as the seal slipped out of its place.

So replaced the seal. Cleaned the combustion chamber from carbon.

The backfiring and missing got solved by replacing the coil.

Hope it helps someone.

Problem seems to repeat!

The new coil is showing the early signs of problem.
Right after a cold start, it stalls after a few seconds. Restarts normally but stalls a few times. Yesterday it stalked once, today it stalled thrice.
Previous coil did like this for few days and then it would stall again and again. Later while checking started missing, backfiring, front firing etc...

One more observation is that last night at cold start, i noticed current leakage from coil cable. It was like weak glow in pitch black darkness. It would also glow on my finger touch. Also the ceramic part of new NGK plug was also glowing.
At shutdown this high voltage leakage was not seen...

Anyone experienced such problem and behavior?

I haven't touched the tappets of my generator. Going good. Dont know the clearance for them as its a bit unique from others

So, I am also not going to change them. But I have set clearance of spark plug to 0.40mm is it ok?
