helo pws , here i show you how to instal the NG kit acuratelly on generator , i see many generator repairing guys installing that kit but the end result is not good , generator hardelly start on petrol , there are few reasons for that , first of the the ventury in carburator , it must be at the precise place in the carb , other wise it wont perform well , second the most imp thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,there is no idle gas adjustement on pak made NG kits ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there is a plastic nut on them but that nut is not meant for idle adjustment ,,,,,,,,,,,so we need to do some modification for idle adjustment,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i mess with this thing for many weeks and then find this way , 3 years before when i instal this NG kit on my home generator , after that i never run my generator on petrol and it never gave any starting / running trouble , starts on half crank even when its dead cold ,,,,,,,,,,,,,i suggest you to buy a similar kit of "perfect" brand so that it will be easy for you to copy the process ,,,,,,,,,,,,,the screw lifts the plate inside the NG kit , which further creates a small gap between the rubber seal and its seat so that a minor amount of gas can escape from there , that amout of gas can be adjusted with that screw and also the amount must be precise and acurate , you will see in pic how i adjust it ,,,,,,,,just flame the NG outlet and check the flame , it must be around 3 to 4 inch other wise engine wont start , too less or too much,,,,,,,,,both wont work,,,,,,,,,,,,it much be accurate,,,,,,,,,,,also the spring much not be too hard or too weak,,,,,,,,,,,the original spring which comes with it was too hard , so i replace it with some softer one which i pulled from some junk part ,,,,,,,,,
i hope you will no need of any gas tank after that , simply remove it for some batter engine cooling ,
another thing is that many generator guys say that the NG kit wont work on sui gas because the pressure is too low or the pressure at your home will be too low for that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thats all wrong ,,,,,,,infect they put a blame on gas pressure when they wont able to set it acuratelly,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if the gas pressure is enough to burn a small stove on almost less than 80% then its good enough to run the generator ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
also one more thing ,,,,,,,,,,,about the gas bill,,,,,,,,,,i havent notice any increase in gas bill as these days it runs almost 10 hours a day on NG ,,,,,,,,,as it only comsumes gas not more than a small single burner stove ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
