well dear first of all check one thing in your denmo ,,,,,,,,,,open the demno cover and look for the armature carbon brushes ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,remove them out but keep the connection along with it so that you cant mix up them ,,,,,,,,,,it gets current from AVR,,,,,,,,,,,just check the +ve mark on the plastic body of carbon brushes,,,,,,,,,,,,now check that whether the +ve wire from the AVR (the wire in blue color and it also has a marking sigh init) goes to the +ve mark of the carbon brushes ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,my old generator dont behave like that and tester lights only on +ve wire , but my new generator have that problem and its an easy fix ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
if this wont work then open the main pannel and check the wires behind the socket,,,,,,,,,,,,,,one will be blue which is -ve and other will be red and its +ve , both comes directelly from the denmo, blue one goes directelly to the socket and red comes first goes to the circuit breaker and then to the socket,,,,,,,,,,,,
